More than 10% of people living in Denmark are immigrants. Whether they came to work, study, or seek refuge; whether their choice was driven by necessity or curiosity; they made Denmark their home. This is a profound way that Denmark is intertwined with the world - and an invaluable resource for Danish society, especially if we succeed in including the international experience in our political discussions.

Internationals: Alternativet invites you to partake in one of our famous Political Laboratories, an open workshop designed to spark ideas and foster policy innovation.

Alternativists: Let us update and expand our politics aimed towards inclusion of internationals. And let us start by meeting engaged internationals and getting their input at our National Conference.

How do we make it clear to our international neighbors that they are welcome in Denmark - and convince them to stay? Should non-citizen permanent residents have the right to vote in parliamentary elections? What can we learn from green politics outside of Denmark, especially the Green parties of other countries? Help us set the stage for development of a new Alternative policy platform for International Denmark, and build a network integrating Alternativet with International Denmark.
